Protouch Physiotherapy & Rehab has been serving the Newmarket community since 2011.
Under new ownership, the clinic has been completely renovated with modern equipment and an expanded team of multidisciplinary practitioners. Our mission remains the same: to provide evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation that helps you achieve your health goals.
Located inside a medical building with a walk-in clinic and pharmacy, we offer a convenient healthcare ecosystem where your needs are met under one roof.

Physiotherapist & Owner
A University of Tabriz graduate with over six years at Protouch, Nima brings elite-level experience — including his role as physiotherapist for Tractor Soccer Club in Iran's top league. Since moving to Canada in 2017, he has combined hospital and private clinic work with a passion for high-tech, objective assessment tools.
Tirana Babakhani
Physiotherapist
A dedicated physiotherapist with over 17 years of clinical experience, Tirana graduated from Tabriz University and specialises in musculoskeletal conditions, pain management, and Aquatherapy rehabilitation. She has extensive hospital experience including specialised spinal cord injury units.
Mehdi Madahi
Registered Osteopath
A PhD-holder in Neuromuscular Physiology and former physiotherapist for Iran's National Football Team, Mehdi brings elite sports rehab expertise and university-level teaching experience to his osteopathic practice at Protouch.
Dr. Ali Fizi
Chiropractor (DC)
A Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College graduate and former elite decathlete with 25+ years of international competition, Dr. Fizi brings a unique athlete's perspective to chiropractic care. Member of the CCA, OCA, and CCO.
Faranak Ameri
Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA)
With over a decade of experience spanning manual therapy, physiotherapy assistance, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Faranak takes an integrative approach — blending orthopedic and kinesiological rehabilitation with holistic TCM principles for whole-person recovery.
